All works of visual art are, at their core, an exploration of the visual realm. “What is seen” becomes the point of departure. The artist may begin from a purely imaginative visual concept. Likewise, the viewers start from the conceptions that exist within their own minds when they encounter a work of art.
Nine artists unfold their own journeys of visual discovery. Some reveal abstraction, others representation. Together, their works invite us to see beyond the visible — to ask what truly appears before our eyes.
